Nature Therapy

Shinrin Yoku, or 'Forest Bathing,' is a Japanese practice that means immersing yourself in nature to boost your well-being. It’s not about exercise or hiking, but slowing down and connecting with the forest through your senses—seeing the trees, hearing the birds, feeling the breeze, and smelling the earth. Studies show it reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and improves mood. You simply walk or sit quietly in a forest, letting nature soothe your mind and body. Think of it as a peaceful escape from the rush of daily life, where you recharge by being present and mindful in a natural setting.

Do you want to connect with Nature?

My role as a qualified Forest Bathing Practitioner  is to guide people in connecting with nature for relaxation and well-being. I support participants to slow down, engage your senses, and enjoy the calming effects of the forest. My role is to create a peaceful, mindful experience that promotes stress relief and a deeper bond with nature.

There are a variety of ways I can support you to do this and I will change and adapt how I work and the approach I use depending on what the group or individual needs. This can include activities which are more active and exploratory or more quiet and meditative activities.
